Abstract

BARRETO, Danielle Jardim; BALANI, Carolina de Lima  and  BRAZ, Paulo da Silva. Problematizations between the familiar dynamic recommended by brazilian Social Assistance and the female single-parent family. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2016, vol.11, n.2, pp. 295-309. ISSN 1809-8908.

The woman, along the history, was allocated in a place of privacy and passivity in society. In the current days, many women are the single-parent householders and are majority of the Brazilian Social Assistance Policy users that preconizes, in its work, an heterogeneity of family models, but doesn't leave from a crystallized model of functioning and roles within the family. In a female single-parent family reality, where the family dynamics differs itself from the traditional nuclear families, the National Social Assistance Policy needs to consider new ways of exerting of the familiar dynamics that are not these traditionals, and contribute to the deconstruction of discourses sedimented that go through its practices.

Keywords : Woman; Family; Social Assistance.
