The goal of Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is ensure access to education to that people who were systematically excluded of the regular education. The professionals' preparation to act in this area is very important, due to the specificity of this teaching mode. The present work aimed to contribute, through Critical Educational Psychology, with the formation of teachers and managers to act on EJA. The work was developed during two years in the mode of Institutional Shifts; during this period has included, initially, a group of twenty teachers of two EJA nuclei, and has evolved, on the second year, to all municipal centers' managers (11 people). It was possible to verify the importance of creating formative-reflective spaces for human formation and technical training for teachers and coordinators, as well as the alignment of the practices and knowledge with the political-pedagogical proposal of EJA.
