Abstract

PASSOS, Izabel Christina Friche et al. The children and adolescents protection and care network of Betim/MG and the challenges in coping with abuse of crack, alcohol and other drugs. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2016, vol.11, n.3, pp. 583-601. ISSN 1809-8908.

The aim of the study was to contribute to the development of the work in intersectorial and interdisciplinary network by conducting a situational diagnosis of a care network and applying the Cross Training as a strategy to increase knowledge of the actors of this network regarding their daily job and possible strengthening of the network. The method used was the action research. A lack of network articulation and little expertise in the approach of the problem were verified, being the intersectoriality one of its main challenges. The Cross Training appears as a strategic tool in sharing information about the attention of children and adolescents in the care network. It is necessary to construct strategies for handling the impasses regarding the demand of the studied city considering the participation of the actors involved.
