Abstract

BARBOSA, Vera Lucia Ermida  and  D'AVILA, Maria Inácia. Coloniality and daily practices in Minas Gerais - Brazil. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2017, vol.12, n.1, pp. 86-102. ISSN 1809-8908.

This essay aims to analyze the daily life and their tactics of resistance from the perspective of coloniality. The concepts, categories and forms of Reflections Decolonial argument proposed by the Group Modernity / Coloniality Latin American supports us and builds the scene about colonialism and Brazilian postcolonialism. The theories of Michel de Certeau subsidize reflection on the daily fragments present in the narrative of Dona Maria, village resident of Bichinho in Minas Gerais. Our intention is to contribute to the reflections on the coloniality as a legacy of the modern world-system / colonial and its expression in the daily lives of subaltern peoples in order to identify cracks where evidence is the many forms of resistance and subversion.

Keywords : colonialism; coloniality; daily life practices; decoloniality.
