COSTA, Rafaela Rocha da  and  ALBERTO, Maria de Fatima Pereira. Speeches about family and training for social work in the Centre of reference of Social Assistance. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2017, vol.12, n.1, pp. 193-208. ISSN 1809-8908.

This study aims to analyze the discourses of professionals of Psychology and Social Service of the Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS) about family and received training for social work with families. It was adopted a strategy for the field divided into analysis of documents, questionnaires and open interview script submitted to discourse analysis. From these instruments emerged data on gaps in training for social work with families. Regular speech was the traditional family and, for those who flee to this model, we identified the interdiscourse of unstructured family whose story was told from the personal values socially constructed accepting the nuclear model as standard. Working with other models seems to cause estrangement, that is expressed in the speeches of a professional practice, assistance, hygienist and eugenicist who pathologizes the everyday.
