These effects are intensified according as the length of stay in the institution is extended. These comprehensions are traduced in necessities to re-think the perspectives and practices on the Elderly Institutions for long length in order to change these spaces in a positive way and offer a care that promote biopsychosocial welfare to institutionalized elderlies.
