Abstract

NASCIMENTO, Thays Maria do  and  GALINDO, Wedna Cristina Marinho. Operative Group in Psychosocial Care Centers according to psychologists' opinion. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2017, vol.12, n.2, pp. 422-438. ISSN 1809-8908.

The research aimed to understand the meanings that psychologists, coordinators of Operative Groups in Psychosocial Care Centers (Caps), attribute to this activity. The Operative Group, theoretical and methodological formulation of Pichon-Rivière, has played significant role in Brazil, advocated by the Ministry of Health as an activity to be developed in Caps. This is a qualitative descriptive research attended by five psychologists groups' coordinators in Caps. Individual interviews were accomplished and subsequently transcribed and analyzed. The results indicate that the work with groups in Caps is distant from the theoretical and methodological foundations of the Operative Group. There are references to concepts although disarticulated from its foundations. External determinations to Caps, usually by managers, are imposed on routine. The psychologists report learning to work, on its own routine, exposing weaknesses in academic formation and in guidance from managers. Further studies deserve deepen aspects described in this research.
