Abstract

FRANCA, Cassandra Pereira. A body sullied in childhood: the need for early intervention of health professionals. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2017, vol.12, n.3, pp. 1-10. ISSN 1809-8908.

The child victim of sexual abuse is responsible for producing proof of the violence to which he was subjected, which implies reliving the traumatic situation he or she has gone through and facing a new situation, without presenting maturation conditions. However, the urgency with which such children need the support of health professionals is faced with the unpreparedness of these professionals to identify a case of sexual abuse, especially when it is intra familiar - a situation that will put in check a set of valuations, ideas and feelings about family, sexuality, childhood and cultural taboos. The present article intends to give a brief and panoramic description of some of the challenges of the analysis as a prophylactic measure to the development of actions that reveal the main consequences of the sexual abuse of infantile: the reification of the body and the numbness of affections.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; child sexual abuse; incest.
