PEREIRA, Vinicius Tonollier  and  GUARESCHI, Pedrinho. Psychology's social representations of Cras' users: a relational perspective. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2017, vol.12, n.3, pp. 1-17. ISSN 1809-8908.

This study is part of a master degree research that investigated the social representations of psychology professionals working in Social Assistance Referral Centers (Cras) about the users of this service, considered the gateway of the Universal System of Social Assistance (Suas). The aim of this article is to present social representations that refer to the potentialities of Cras users. Twenty one professionals were interviewed. The results point to the existence of a relational perspective among the recipients of social assistance, from the standpoint of the interviewees, since they are able to establish an environment of solidarity and support despite adverse circumstances. Strength and life power are present as well. The field of psychology itself is problematized considering it may advance when it encompasses relational, ethical and political dimensions within its action scope.
