Abstract

PARAVENTI, Larissa; SCAFF, Luísa; CORD, Denise  and  OLTRAMARI, Leandro. Group mediation as a strategy for redefining school complaints. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2017, vol.12, n.3, pp. 1-14. ISSN 1809-8908.

The aim of this article is to present a university internship experience in educational psychology at a Federal public school in Florianópolis. The main objective of the interventions was to redefine school complaints about the students through mediation in aspects of the bonding experience in three levels: student-student, student-teacher-material and student-school. The interventions were based on group psychodrama analysis and developed to provide students the opportunity to actively participate in data collection and enable the joint categorization of themes identified as indicators of group conflicts. The results indicated that creating with the class a space for planning, sharing and reflective evaluation about their processes of group interaction, teaching and learning had a positive effect on aspects of communication between students and institutional mediators. It was also observed that experiencing a mediation process changed the previous group dynamic and allowed greater student autonomy when performing classroom tasks.
