The present work has as object the social representations of the beneficiaries of the "Minha Casa Minha Vida" Program on Social Technical Work developed in the town of Minas Gerais. These analyzes are considered to have an impact on the achievement of the social objectives of the "Minha Casa Minha Vida" Program, since they allow to incorporate more elements in the evaluation of its implementation. It sought to seize the social representations through the identification of the figurative nucleus and the anchoring and objectivation processes of the beneficiaries. The methodological procedures were semi-structured interviews, focus groups and group dynamics. The analytical treatment of these narratives was done through content analysis techniques. As a result, we identified that the social representations of the Social Technical Work had as the figurative nucleus the assistentialism in the allotments. This assistance came in different directions, some of which are directed at valuation and others at the devaluation of Social Technical Work.
