Abstract

ROLIM, Kamêni Iung  and  FALCKE, Denise. Psychological practices in the work with conjugal violence in devices of the Unified Social Assistance System. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2018, vol.13, n.4, pp. 1-16. ISSN 1809-8908.

The amplification of psychology work fields is permeated by the consolidation of public policies. This study aimed to know and characterize the psychological practices when working with conjugal violence in devices of Suas, in the region of Vale do Paranhana, RS, Brazil. Drawing from an exploratory approach, a qualitative study was executed with eight psychologists who responded to a semi-structured interview. We identified that they perform individual sessions influenced by gender perspective and focused on orientation about rights, legislation, and family structure organization. Sessions are mostly carried out in an interdisciplinary fashion with a social assistant, when professionals sometimes overlap interventions. Referral to other services in the network was considered the most frequent intervention for conjugal violence. Drawing from identified potentialities and challenges, we propose psychosocial interventions based on the presuppositions of Amplified Clinics, with the objective to qualify the service to meet this demand.
