This is a qualitative research, with data collected by the oral history technique and submitted to the Thematic Content Analysis. Domestic violence and fragile emotional relationships were identified as the main contexts of vulnerability experienced; Among the most used coping strategies are the opportunity to go to school and the mutual aid network; Life projects include getting jobs and finishing school; The services most accessed by the youth and their families were the Bolsa Família Program (BFP) and income-generating activities but highlighted the delays and lack of information about services.
