Abstract

OLIVEIRA FILHO, Pedro de; FEITOSA, Giulliany Gonçalves  and  SILVA, Caio Cesar Winker e. Petismo and antipetismo in reports of right-wings sympathizers on the internet. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2019, vol.14, n.2, pp. 1-15. ISSN 1809-8908.

Since June 2013, the political polarization in Brazil has increased considerably and has had as a high point the large mobilizations of anti-party groups in 2015 and 2016. This study aimed to understand how to build the identity of the right militant antipetistas in Brazil on reports from its members and supporters on the internet. Therefore were analyzed using the discourse analysis method developed by theorists of discursive social psychology, comments in response to journalist Reinaldo Azevedo's posts, an openly conservative journalist. It was observed that dishonesty, communism and psychopathology are central features in PT identity built by people against PT. Two discourses compose their reports, the liberal discourse that advocates the virtues of the free market and the discourse of the American right-wing for which anti-communism is a central theme.

Keywords : Antipetismo; Discourse; Identity.
