The present research is part of a project carried out in different countries of Latin America. The aim is to understand how the dimension of ethics appears in the Community Psychology (PC) training. We analysed 23 teaching plans of PC which are offered in Psychologies courses of public and private institutions in Minas Gerais (MG), Brazil. We accomplished six semi-structured interviews with teachers and three focus groups with undergraduate students in Psychology. The results endorse the existence of different theoretical and methodological approaches on the PC`s field. Furthermore we´ve found that teachers is working to propitiate the teaching of ethics based on participatory and dialogical perspectives, but also some difficulties for the learning of this debate among students were be found. We emphasize the importance of clarifying the specificities of ethic on the PC, as well as the relevance of the constant revision in the training process in this area.
