Abstract

DAMIAO JR., Maddi. Transcending function: some reflections on the process of creation. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2019, vol.14, n.4, pp. 1-17. ISSN 1809-8908.

This paper pretends, by the method of textual analysis, to do an exegese to text "Function Transcends", published in 1916, with the purpose of analyzing the various forms of these concept. By the way the conceptual and non-conceptual aspects of the theory, as well their ontological perspective, at the work of C. G. Jung is sustained. Ontological foundations are the radical bases that support the conception of a world, as well as the horizon of emergency. See also the concept of "Transcendent Function" is inseparable from the categories "symbol" and "creativity", being homologous and doing a creative function in the formation of the psyche.
