Abstract

SANTOS, Mariane Comelli dos; CORD, Denise  and  SCHNEIDER, Daniela Ribeiro. Adolescence, Drug Use and Infractional Practice: Reflections from Brazilian Studies. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2020, vol.15, n.4, pp. 1-17. ISSN 1809-8908.

Drug use among adolescents in conflict with the law appears frequently in national and international studies and raises concerns about the possible association between these two variables and their consequences for the health of this population. Through an integrative literature review, we sought to analyze the state of the art of Brazilian scientific production on the subject. 30 articles were selected and analyzed from the categories: Annual Distribution, Areas of Knowledge, Objectives, Results, Interlocution with Public Policies. The results shows that the issue is widely discussed in the national literature, including the analysis of the "drug use" in some articles as a determining factor in association with crime, in others, as one of multiple factors that combine in the construction of the phenomenon. We found few studies that discuss professional practice and public policies related to the subject. It is concluded that the phenomenon is complex and needs expanded approaches, as well as support of public policies related to it.

Keywords : Adolescents; Infraction; Drug use; Public policies.
