Abstract

BARONI, Daiana Paula Milani. Reflections on the Relationship between Essay, Truth and Subjectivity's Production from a Foucaultian Perspective. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2021, vol.16, n.3, pp. 1-11. ISSN 1809-8908.

This article intends to reflect on the relationship between "subject and truth" in a context of scientific production, in order to share with other researchers questions and possible experiments from the use of the method essay. Thus, it aims to problematize the relationship between "subject and truth" produced by scientific disciplines conditioned to methodological programming in the field of Psychology, presenting the essay as another form of positioning during the research. The objective would be to question the privileged condition of the knowledge that assigns us identities and make us subjects and to propose a deviation from these formal mechanisms through essay writing. It is, therefore, a proposal of commitment not with the idea of a single and universal truth, but with its effects of subjectivity and its character of production. For such authors as Foucault, Barthes, Larrosa and Morin will give us important clues from their work.

Keywords : Essay; Truth production; Subjectivity process; Foucault.
