Resumen

In this article we aim to present and discuss an experience of the discipline Community Social Psychology, during the second semester of 2018, along with a group of organic food farmers from the rural area of ​​Iranduba/AM, that follows agroecological principles. We describe and discuss the elaboration of the Action Plan in the following steps: familiarization with farmers in their daily lives; survey of problems and needs; elaboration of action strategies and their implementation; final evaluation. We conclude that the approximation with the farmers brought us valuable baggage for professional performance by: acting in a rural context; act as partners, rather than just having qualified listening; broaden our awareness of the local Amazonian reality, not merely theirs; realize that eating and choice of organic products is a political act; bring us closer to Agroecology and its proposal to transform society.
