Psychology and public health policies: notes for an analysis of the Brazilian experience. This paper presents an analysis of the introduction of psychologists in the public health services in Brazil, in the context of social welfare's neoliberal reforms. The constitution and the crisis of Welfare State, the neoliberal ideology, the introduction of psychologists in the public health services, the neoliberal agenda for the public health services and its consequences to the Brazilian Psychology are discussed.
