In the Municipality of Playa, Havana City, Cuba, was carried out a descriptive study of traverse court with the objective of characterizing the behavior of the Intrafamiliar violence, from the woman's perspective. At the beginning, we worked with 243 women of the sample, concluding with the study over 156 families with Intrafamiliar violence, according to the women's perception and the detection of her selves as an used instrument. A questionnaire was applied to detect the presence of Intrafamiliar violence and families´ characterization and the test of Family Operation. Results were centered in the not perceived Intrafamiliar violence such as violence in most of the women, however its existence was detected. The type of violence that prevailed was the psychological one. The physical violence showed in combination with the psychological one. In the study the nuclear families prevailed, disfuncionales and with appropriate conditions of the housing.
