This research had as objective to investigate a Creativity Workshop offered as a regular activity in a training program for mediators of an attendance program directed to children of the suburbs of São Paulo. The Creativity Workshops are a specific form of intervention in the confluence of the areas of Psychology and Education that have been occupying a significant space as target of academic studies. Directed, in this inquiry, to 20 young mediators and monitors of a NGO of the North side of São Paulo, this intervention complements the study on different forms of using artistic resources, extending them to a segment of youngsters in a training program for communitarian action. The Workshops resulted in the improvement of self knowledge and knowledge of others, with discussions about the conditions of life and work of the adolescents, ethical attention to diversity, and possibilities of social insertion.
