Aiming to discuss the possibility of creating educational processes which could interfere in reality, as well as seek to fight against violence and dehumanization in society, this essay has as goal to present thoughts on the possibility of accomplishing educational actions, oriented by psychology as a science, that may promote an individual awareness within the work environment. It also questions whether this reflexive process for the individual appears only for the work issues or if it extends itself to other areas of life, allowing such individual to behave in less violent social ways in general. The present work uses as reference the Psychoanalysis and the Critical Theory, especially Adorno and Horkheimer, and it’s based on the master’s dissertation “Educational Actions and awareness at work - Limits and possibilities found during an experience with public workers by Nanci Fonseca Gomes.
