The docent-assistential experience is approached here in its practical plurality in the psychiatric institution. At first, a synthetical review of clinical case methodology and concepts are presented, following the case construction and analysis to support its importance to the therapeutic plans direction. Finally, attention is called to the relevance of the elaboration of the case and the internation exit moment for the sucess of external treatment continuity, also its contribution for reforms project and the professional preparation.
