This work aims to develop and validate an Organizational Climate investigation instrument, intended to record the perceptions of the employees of BB Turismo - Viagens e Turismo Ltda, a large brazilian tourism concern. The survey instrument was comprised of two dimensions (Psychosocial and Organizational), and seven Climate factors: Workload, Work Conditions, Organizational Awareness and Performance Standards, Management Style, Organizational Commitment, Teamwork and Recognition, all tested by means of a 42-item questionnaire intended to collect the perceptions of employees on objective and subjective aspects of their work environment. The survey involved a total of 404 employees, based at 13 different locations, ranging from stores to support units to headquarters, and spread over 10 states and the Federal District. Collected data were submitted to a factor analysis, which showed the instrument to be consistent and adequate for an investigation of Organizational Climate.
