The objective of this work was to carry through a psychodinamic reading of three first steps of 12 Steps of Narcotics Anonymous Program. The steps have been approached isolated and their benefits has been presented separately by an analogy between this program and the psychodinamic process of psychosexual and social development. The benefits that adicted acquires during the participation of the program have been described here as egoicos resources and emotional and social maturity that has been acquired during the development in the first years of life. The proposal of this study is to offer the psychologists who work with the drogadiction phenomenon and have psychodinamic orientation, theoretical alternatives for the intervention in treatment models that include the program of 12 steps.
