Abstract

The article presents one type of research called interceptive, whose main goal is to produce knowledge from an intervention realized with groups of people. The emphasis of the work is over the psychological aspects. Initially characteristics of this type of work will be discussed. To illustrate the methodology three case studies will be presented: with teenagers that committed law infractions, with women belonging to a sewing cooperative and with teachers of a public school. We conclude presenting the conditions considered important for the realization of an interceptive research.
