This work tries to subsidize the process of passage from arithmetical reasoning to algebraic reasoning, in children aged 7-8 years, so that it occurs as naturally as possible. A study on the use of new computer technologies, which can allow cognitive gains in teaching-learning processes on elementary algebra, is presented. Among these new technologies, we included the use of educational computer games, and we carried out a survey with students from this age group. Data analysis and perspectives of significant yields are presented as well.
