Abstract

Observation was made on 5 zones in Oaxaca City, Mexico. Early in the morning and at evening, trying to catch drivers crossing the red light (stop transgressors). There was 2 independent observers with 98% confiability. The behavior observed was choose because the high risk represented and as an example of a cultural deleterious index. Data shows people family and personal cars as the more frequent transgressors during the evenings. Discussion point on some variables related to data and to remedy actions of this situation. Behavior of travelers inside 10 different buses was observed in the city of Oaxaca, Mexico during all the way of each running. There was 10 behavior categories in play, 2 for each one in the A. Maslow necessities model. In this report there are data related to the drivers, their helping staff, sitting and standstill users. Conclusions give advice to improve the environmental conditions in transport business for drivers and toward delivering a higher users satisfaction and better city services.
