Abstract

Besides the notoriousness of several natural and cultural environments in the planet, traditional cultural practices also integrate the oral and untouchable richness of man kind. Capitalistic monopolies led few space for this practices. It is important to study the impact of public economic policies on traditional ways of living. In order to identify this risky factors in this study we try to find the existing differences in the public security polices on popular markets and urban commercial conglomerates. We apply a opinion pull protocol for each 10nth commercial business owners working at the popular market and also to those working in the urban commercial centers in Oaxaca (México). Protocol contain 20 answers about recent administrative infractions and criminal offences around their stores. Results shows a high rate of criminal behavior with noticeable differences between the tow locations. At the end of the report we point on the cultural implications of data and propone some ways to prevent negative effects on population.
