This paper focus on the evaluation of the reading comprehension and retention of information of High school graduated. This group shows genuine and relevant topics, which evolve the interest of the university pedagogy in Argentina. Test about reading comprehension and retention of information was given to 178 high school graduated from private and public schools. Results show a high scatter for retention of information coefficient and low value for reading comprehension, which indicates difficulties in the population for the understanding of texts.
