The aim was to verify the technologies skills of the teachers at basic education, perceived with Escala de Padrões de Desempenho em Informatica Educacional (EDIE) questionnaire. Also differences were explored for the geographic region, school degree and work place. 755 teachers with age between 23 and 64 years had participated, 96.60% female, 44.20% crowded in state public and 55.80% in the municipal schools, in Northeast (N=205) and South (N=550) regions of Minas Gerais state. The results demonstrate that group has not skills necessary to execute activities of education that include technologies or to manage these resources and that the teachers of the state public schools that they work in the south of Minas Gerais they had demonstrated to be more prepared. Also indicate necessity of magnifying of the investments in teachers qualification and accompaniment of the effective use of the technological resources in the schools.
