This article aims to redeem historically the inclusion of women in the world of work, especially in Brazil, analyzing what the main points that determine this process. The study was developed from a literature review on the subject and is structured in three stages. Initially was turned problematic the participation of women in the labor market correlating it with the division sexual techniques. In a second stage it emerged how was the inclusion of women at work in the Brazilian context, and finally, the article was ended with a reflection about the implications of motherhood on the female work. In this study we can examine that the conditions lived by women in the labor market should consider various factors, economic order, social, cultural and even the institutional that allow a reflection about the difference and female identity (social and biological) , the sexual division of the techniques, the work productive and reproductive, and the relationship between capitalism and patriarchalism, expressed in the forms of control of the production, according to the condition of gender.
