DIAZ PEREZ, Maiky. La Psicología Laboral y de las Organizaciones: nna mirada desde los 90´ en Cuba. Psicol. Am. Lat. [online]. 2008, n.15, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1870-350X.

This article consists of a critical look on the  Psychology of Labour and of  Organizations in Cuba. (PLO). It has a testimonial and consequently,  partial nature.  The point of departure for the article   is the  90’s, and it  presents three fundamental ideas: Before the 90’s:  the birth of an genuine PLO was stimulated by  the urgent problems of that epoch and the demands of  the economic and social development. As a result of the economic crisis of the 90 ‘s, the profile of the Psychology professionals on  labor was enriched and this pushed them to make  progress in this area of Applied Psychology.  In connection with the challenges of the 2000’s, when efficiency and productivity are the present-day objectives of the Cuban society, the PLO is called to contribute to the achievement of these goals. In  this regard the author presents a  proposal for the  management of  the human potential in  labor relationship among persons and organizations, aimed at greater organizational efficiency,  human welfare  and sustainable social development.  The article finishes with the commitment to continue practicing a Psychology “with all  and for the benefit of all”, in order to contribute to the development of  our nations and of  the integrationist processes taking place in  our region.
