The aims of this research were to design and validate an adequacy in practices and work conditions scale toward to assess organizational insertion of people with disabilities. This instrument looks for helping on management and analyzes the work conditions of insertion of people with disabilities. The scale entitled “Actions of Adequacy in Practices and Work Conditions Inventory” was administered to 163 managers from 18 Brazilian enterprises. An exploratory factor analysis was carried out to get evidence on the construct validity. This analysis generated three factors: Sensitization, Adaptations and Human Resource Practices. The reliability coefficients varied from .68 to .86.
