The objective of this work is based in knowing the paper of the emotional intelligence in a sample of Mexicans. It is, mainly, of discovering which they are the components that more values. For such a purpose, it is had a sample of 58 participants. The obtained data reveal that all the components of the emotional intelligence are considered excellent, being valued better, as much in men as in women, the dimension related with the emotional attention. In the other end, we discover that the emotional clarity is the category that presents a smaller weight.
