The accelerated growth of cities throughout the world imposes upon rural environments.  The study was making in a municipality near to Mexico City, with overpopulation, and urbanization process. The research question was: Do the changes in rural homes improve the quality of life of their inhabitants?  The objective was to answer this question based on the subjectivity of the inhabitants of rural homes. The methodology was a combination of qualitative and quantitative techniques. Variables: Quality of life and Enjoyment. The participants were chosen from six towns, in each town, twenty people whose sources of income are predominantly agricultural.  There were identificated: 1) The infrastructure of towns and of the services related to rural homes. 2) A group of categories for each one variable and their interactions.
