Abstract

REYES, Adrián Gómez. Baremos DAT-5 a Nivel Licenciatura, en Estudiantes de UVM Campus Tlalpan. Psicol. Am. Lat. [online]. 2011, n.22, pp. 1-6. ISSN 1870-350X.

The Differential Aptitude Test, in its fifth version (DAT-5), assesses proficiency in the context of Vocational Guidance. The Educational Guidance Service at the Tlalpan Campus of the University of Valle de Mexico, found lower performance in studenteswhen using Spanish scales, which come from a limited sample (N = 20-127 in most tables). We applied the 7 subscales of the test to undergraduate sophomore students (N = 822). All scales reported normal p levels in the Kolmogorov-Smirnov between .055 and .218, except for the numerical subscale (.042), with a significant gap between Engineering and Social Sciences, although we strived to represent proportionally all campus areas. We consider our scales useful for assessment in the population represented by the sample.
