This article aims to describe a psychological approach to the processes of transformation in family dynamics, the dimension or the conjugal bond and the dimension or the parental bond, resulting from the processes of separation and divorce in parental couples, Costa Rican, with the intention of responding to the research question: What are the main transformations in family dynamics, conjugal and parental, after separation and divorce?
