PALUDO, Simone dos Santos; GOULART, Juliana Sonego  and  FERREIRA, Luiza Santos. Experiência da implementação do Pair Mercosul no Rio Grande do Sul. Experiências e práticas psicológicas. Psicol. Am. Lat. [online]. 2017, n.29, pp. 114-127. ISSN 1870-350X.

This article aims to describe the implementation of the Program of Integrated Actions and Referentials for Fighting against Youth Sexual Violence in Brazilian Territory (in Portuguese, Programa de Ações Integradas e Referenciais de Enfrentamento à Violência Sexual Infanto-Juvenil no Território Brasileiro, or PAIR) on the southern countryside of Brazil. PAIR is a methodology that articulates policies and promotes fortification of network integration to provide protection for vulnerable children and youth or victims of sexual violence and traffic. Six cities that border neighboring countries of Uruguay and Argentina participated. During the first part of the program, 294 interviews were conducted with actors from the service network in those cities. The collected information was the input for a diagnosis that led to the construction of operational plans. The actors went through training course and, at the end, created strategies to better handle the subject. Also, the countries signed a pact to, together, fight against the aforementioned problems.

Keywords : sexual exploitation; service network; child and youth.
