Based on Sennett and Haroche theoretical approach and affiliated to the French (pecheutian) tradition of Discourse Analysis (DA), we aims at understanding in this paper how the Brazilian mass media sustain a natural evidence about social exclusion in urban space. For this, we analyzed online newspaper, according the clues paradigm and the DA. Behind the evidences of meaning showed by large circulation news, we discuss the relationship between urban space and social exclusion.
