The following article analyzes the role of the psychologist from a transdisciplinary and biopsychosocial conception in Public Health contexts. It develops theoretically and analytically the need to reorient psychological practices in these contexts towards appropriate models to the realities of our people, in which the most disadvantaged groups are made visible and psychological practices are adapted to their realities. On the other hand, the need to reaffirm the commitment of the profession towards practices that points to the social dimension of the person in terms of empowerment, citizenship and conscious-action -reflection from a transdisciplinary psychology that achieves to cover these usually overlooked aspects of health, and politically influence the transformation of unfavorable realities for human well-being.
