In Brazil, among the options available instruments for evaluating professional interesses is Escala de Aconselhamento Profissional (EAP), an instrument that has several published studies that claim its psychometric quality. This article aims to present the studies published in the EAP. In November 2015, a search was conducted and were found 34 studies, published between 2007 and 2015. The studies are presented in seven categories: the internal structure of the EAP; relations with affective and personality, cognitive assessment tools and professional interest in family background, academic variables, experience reports and stability of interests. Finally, a synthesis of the studies presented.is presented.
