Abstract

CARDOSO, Oscar A.. The contribution of the audit in health services: psychologist auditor. Psicol. Am. Lat. [online]. 2019, n.31, pp. 81-92. ISSN 1870-350X.

The 21st Century comes full of new horizons and advances in technology; jobs appear and disappear; new forms of human relationships; new challenges in the field of health in general and the clinic in particular. In this sense, the Argentine legislation is rich in regulations that promote health services; so that state agencies, public and private institutions, provide better and better services to the community, protecting the rights of patients, as a sine qua non condition; nevertheless, the reality is often different as standards and rights are violated. Audit reports, in which the auditor psychologist will contribute their vision, would serve as auxiliary material to the State to better fulfill its role as comptroller. In health institutions, these reports will allow them to improve the quality of care on an ongoing basis.

Keywords : Health Services; Quality of Care; Auditor Psychologist.
