FARIA, Lucas Luis de  e  MARTINS, Catia Paranhos. Colonial borders, Liberation Psychology and indigenous disobedience. Psicol. Am. Lat. [online]. 2020, n.33, pp. 33-42. ISSN 1870-350X.

This text comes up with a clipping of the concerns of the experience of living and researching at the borderland. It starts from assumptions of Martín-Baró's thought for the liberation of oppressed peoples to discuss the borders in the conflicting context of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), especially in the Dourados region, wich the territory is traditionally occupied by the Kaiowá and Guarani. Liberation Psychology and decolonial/decolonizing perspectives are used to question the colonial boundaries imposed on the Kaiowá and Guarani peoples. Lastly, brief notes are made about the positioning and critical performance of Psychology, and one of the urgent tasks is to break free from the bonds by disobeying the colonizing primer and positioning ourselves against it.

Palavras-chave : Social psicology; Indigenous; borderland; decoloniality.
