ORTEGA, Cecilia Aguilar; CANTO, Thelma Cetina; LEY, Guadalupe Centeno  and  LIRA, Ezequiel Ramírez. Organizational Safety Culture: Group variables related to safe behavior. Psicol. Am. Lat. [online]. 2021, n.35, pp. 31-43. ISSN 1870-350X.

The objective was to know the level of perception that a group of workers has about the boss’s safety response, the safe behavior of co-workers and the safe behavior of the worker; as well as if there is a relationship between these variables and differences by sex. 868 workers from service and commercial companies participated. The scales of Safety response from the boss, Safe behavior of colleagues and Safe behavior of the worker were used. The results indicate that workers perceive that their boss is interested in the safety and that of their staff, that their colleagues behave safely and thus also, they indicate that they tend to behave safely and take care of their colleagues. Regarding the relationship between the variables, it was found that there is a relationship between the group variables with respect to the safe behavior of the worker.
