Abstract

MONTENEGRO, Saúl Gustavo  and  SCHROEDER, Ivana Karina. Emotional dynamics, trust and organizational learning: a study from complex systems. Psicol. Am. Lat. [online]. 2021, n.35, pp. 45-60. ISSN 1870-350X.

This article presents an operationalization of the trust disposition, understood as a relevant aspect for the production of knowledge, learning and organizational innovation. Based on complex systems principles, and purposes to understand how organizational learning occurs -or does not occur-, the research design is based on an empirical complex of 45 cases of organizational learning processes in organizations in Córdoba (Argentina) who have received technical advice. 150 in-depth interviews with participating institutional actors and technical advisers are analyzed. It is inferred that the variations in trust at the individual level are associated with intrapersonal elements and emotional, representational and behavioral nature; and that manifests as a self-organized pattern involving elements related to cognitive interaction dynamics between the actors. The findings have implications for researchers, managers and consulting professionals who carry out interventions in the field of organizations.

Keywords : emotionality, confidence; organizational learning; complex systems; study of cases.
