Abstract

COSTA, Lívia Rebouças da  and  PAIVA, Ilana Lemos de. Reflections on Female Socio-Education from the Concept Oh Ethical-Politic Suffering. Psicol. Am. Lat. [online]. 2021, n.36, pp. 149-159. ISSN 1870-350X.

Historically, women have been the target of oppression/exploitation within the current patriarchal-racist-classist society. By shedding light on the context of the female audience in the Brazilian socio-educational system, one can see the radical nature of this process, especially for black and peripheral girls. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze how ethical-political suffering, a concept developed to understand the dialectic of exclusion/inclusion permeates the experience of adolescents who are under a socio-educational measure of deprivation of freedom. As a result, it was found that the reproduction of racism and sexism within the socio-educational system are engendered as constituent elements of this suffering in the lives of girls, who, in turn, have their subjectivities forged from this mechanism. Thus, it was intended to provoke a reflection on the need to develop knowledge committed to the transformation of this reality.

Keywords : teenagers women; socio-education measrure of deprivation of liberty; cisheteropatriarchal-racist-classist system.
