Presently is the time of the science speech dominion, what can be seen by the researches' importance. Contemporary medicine works on evidences. Medical procedures must be based in the most recent epidemiological investigations' results. Evidence based medicine appraises the objectivity of science much more than the doctor subjective perceptions. Besides in this conception, illness be localized in body which functions apart from mind, the results of investigations that point out psychological and behavior characteristics influence in the course and the development of somatic disease are considered. The incorporation of this information to the medical knowledge introduced the psychologist and the psychoanalyst in the hospital, what engages them in a dialogue with epidemiological research. An experience of epidemiological investigations in hospital psychology is presented to discuss its accomplishment as a strategy to the insertion of the subjective in the medical order.
