Risk behavior among athletes: the ergogenic sources and doping in XXI centuryAthletes, as well as the ordinary people, have a behavior pattern of compete more and be always looking for better results. Champions are seeing as an important reference to understand society, and when these people make use of prohibited substances in order to win, it is fear that they’re not only affecting themselves, but also the Sport image itself. The rules about the use of ergogenics and doping are clear and universal, so they’re known by 200 countries or so, by UNESCO and by every international federation which take part on the International Olympic Committee. This essay is willing to discuss what the Sport’s future is on the XXI century and the most relevant factors that may lead young athletes to use prohibited substances, and or prohibited methods.
